Daniel Ki, PE

Daniel Ki joined Severud Associates as an engineer in 2015 and in 2019, progressed to senior engineer. In 2021, he advanced to associate. His almost a decade of design experience has yielded a thorough grasp of structural analysis, including specialized areas such as long-span roofs and blast loading. Dan’s major projects include 100 Vandam Street in Manhattan, a residential tower built over and within an existing building, Halletts Point Building 10, a residential building in Queens, and 43 Gatehouse Road, a commercial building in Stamford, Connecticut. His work on the Terminal 6 redevelopment at JFK International Airport in Queens, and at 200 East 34th Street and the District Council 37 Headquarters, both also in New York City, is equally challenging.
Dan was co-editor of Cross Sections, the quarterly newsletter of the Structural Engineers Association of New York, from 2019 to 2021.
Dan is licensed as a structural engineer in Nevada and as a professional engineer in New York. He earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering and Master of Engineering in structural engineering from Cornell University.
